In 2018 we supplied a new rotor for the BDAX7 generator that was manufactured in Brush Czech Republic and transported by air to Colombia with a stopover in Germany.

 

When passing through Germany, the rotor was inspected by German customs, where due to a bad practice by the customs officer, when cutting the packaging, the same damage was done to the rotor exciter winding.

 

This situation caused that upon arrival in Colombia it was necessary to disassemble the exciter, take it to the Brsuh workshop in Pittsburgh and repair it.
